Refreshing Tropical Dessert

1 Papaya peeled and seeded

2 Mangoes peeled

1 lime

1/8-teaspoon cayenne pepper

Chop papaya and mangoes into ½ inch cubes and place in bowl.

Squeeze juice of 1 lime over mixture, add cayenne pepper, mix and chill for 2 hours before serving.

Serve with small scoop of lemon sorbet.

Note from Dr. P:

Papayas generally come in 2 varieties the Hawaiian, which are smaller, and the Mexican, which are bigger. Either variety works well in this recipe and both are high in Vitamins, A, C, and folate.

Ripe papayas are yellow and orange on the outside and should not be overly soft or have any mold.
