How It Works
From “I don't feel like myself” to “I'm back” — the path is clearer than you think.
Here's exactly what happens when you work with me, what you'll do at each step, what it costs, and how long it takes.
Free Discovery Call
15 minutes by phone. No obligation. We talk about what's going on, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for.
Deep-Dive Visit & Testing
60–90 minute new-patient intake plus the comprehensive labs your conventional doctor doesn't run.
Your Personal Plan
A detailed, written plan custom-built for your body. We review it together so you understand the why, not just the what.
Step 1: The Free Discovery Call (15 minutes)
This is a no-pressure, no-cost conversation. You'll book a 15-minute slot through my online calendar and we'll meet by phone. Here's what we cover:
What's going on in your body right now — the symptoms, when they started, how they're affecting your life
What you've already tried (so I'm not suggesting things you've already ruled out)
How my approach works and whether it's a fit for what you're looking for
What it would cost and what the timeline would look like
Your questions — whatever they are
If we're a good fit, you'll book your new-patient intake. If we're not, I'll point you toward someone who is. I'd rather tell you “I'm not the right doctor for this” than take you on for work I'm not the best person to do.
Who I'm a good fit for
Women in perimenopause or menopause who want to address what's happening at the root, are open to hormone testing and (if needed) bioidentical hormone therapy, and want a doctor who'll spend real time with them. Women who want a quick fix or a 5-minute appointment are not a fit — and that's okay.
Step 2: New-Patient Intake & Testing (Week 1–3)
Your first real appointment is 60–90 minutes. Before we meet, you'll fill out a thorough intake form covering your full medical history, current symptoms, medications, supplements, lifestyle, family history, and goals. I read all of it before we sit down so we're not spending your time on basic data entry.
What we cover in the intake
Your full health timeline — not just the last few years
Your current symptoms and how they're affecting your daily life
Your goals — what does “feeling like myself” actually mean to you?
A review of any prior labs you've had run
The labs I want to add — and why each one matters
The labs I typically run
The exact panel depends on your symptoms, but most women get a version of:
Sex hormones — estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, FSH, LH
Full thyroid panel — TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, antibodies (TPO, Tg)
Cortisol pattern — four-point salivary cortisol across the day, not just a single morning blood draw
Metabolic markers — fasting insulin, A1C, fasting glucose, lipid panel
Nutrient status — vitamin D, B12, ferritin, magnesium, omega-3 index
Inflammation — hs-CRP, homocysteine
Other as indicated by your specific situation (heavy metals, food sensitivities, comprehensive stool testing, etc.)
Step 3: Laboratory Review & Strategy. Treatment Begins (Week 2–3)
About 1–3 weeks after your intake, your labs are back and I've built your plan. We meet again to walk through it together. You leave with:
A written plan covering hormones (if needed), supplements, nutrition, lifestyle, and any prescriptions
Clear “why” for every recommendation — you should understand what we're doing and why
Specific products and dosing
A timeline of what to expect at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks
Direct access to me between visits for questions
Step 4: Follow-Up & Adjustments (Ongoing)
Appointments can be weekly or every two weeks as you progress on your treatment plan. We measure what's working, what's not, and adjust.
By the end of a designated treatment plan most women settle into a rhythm of follow-ups every 2–3 months for the first year, then every 6–12 months once things are stable.
This isn't a one-and-done program. Your hormones will continue shifting through perimenopause and into post-menopause — we'll adjust together as your body asks for different support.
What it costs
I don't bill insurance directly. Insurance companies have decided that natural medical treatments aren't necessary. HSA and FSA funds are typically accepted.
Discovery Call: Free
New Patient Evaluation: $127
At this step I will be able to tell you how long we will need to resolve your concerns and what the realistic costs will be. I will give you a total estimate so there are no surprises.
Telemedicine across the United States
I see most patients by secure video. This is the case for most states — we'll meet from your home, office, or wherever's quiet. Labs happen at a local lab near you (I send the order). Prescriptions go to a pharmacy that works best.
Start at Step 1
The discovery call is free. Start there.
15 minutes, no obligation, no pressure. We'll see if we're a fit.
